After more than two years, the popularity of BKK’s public bicycle-sharing service is still unbroken. By the end of July 2023, MOL Bubi reached 6 million rides.
The public bike system, which was renewed in spring 2021, is rapidly reaching new milestones. In just over a year after its renewal, the number of trips made on the bikes doubled to 3 million in just over a year. BKK awarded the lucky bike user completing the three millionth trip last August.

As a result, Bubi bikes can be picked up and dropped off at 197 locations in the capital, and thanks to the July expansion, there are now 2,460 bikes available to customers.
MOL Bubi also plays a major role in changing attitudes
MOL Bubi has had a major impact in shaping attitudes among the residents of the Hungarian capital. Every year, more and more people realise that cycling is popular for a reason. It is convenient, economical and often faster than driving in traffic jams, especially when combined with traditional forms of public transport.
