Temporary removal of the Pöttyös utca bicycle station
The MOL Bubi station at the Pöttyös utca metro station will be unavailable from 8:00 on 22 July 2024 due to renovation works expected to last for two months.
The works on the surface of the Pöttyös utca metro station will renew the pavement at the current location of the bike station, renew the cycle crossing at the junction of Pöttyös utca and Üllői út, and relocate the taxi rank and bus stop. After the renovation, the bike station will be moved a few metres. The cycling infrastructure improvements will contribute to the Bubi 3.0 network development, as described in more detail here.
The works will start at 8:00 in the morning on 22 July, after which you will not be able to pick up or drop off bikes at the station; we expect to reopen the station to the Bubi community in two months’ time. If possible, please use the MOL Bubi station at the nearby Ecseri út metro station, and always check station and bike availability in the MOL Bubi app before leaving
